The emphasis of the artist as subject matter in the 1980’s continued through the early 1990’s. The scale of the work expanded as did the variety of materials and processes used to construct the sculptures.
In 1995 portraits were used to focus on the emotions of anger and rage. The sculptures explored the wall as a surface to view the narrative whereas the earlier portraits were free standing in a variety of scales. Once again, many different materials were used to explore and expand that sense of anger and rage.
